Radio Frequency components used in the Wi-Fi hotspot on the Fan Mile in Berlin

September saw the start of the pilot phase of a public gigabit Wi-Fi access point on the famous Fan Mile in Berlin, Germany. HUBER+SUHNER is providing Wi-Fi antennas and coaxial cables, thus playing its part in enabling users in the area to surf, chat and stream for free for 30 minutes.

With this set of features, Spuma can support a multitude of application in various industries, including railway, defense, communication, instrumentation and others. Spuma products can also be used as drop-in replacement for LMR® (LMR® is a brand of Times Microwave Inc.).

HUBER+SUHNER Lisca cable assemblies are specially developed for applications where low VSWR and low attenuation combined with low intermodulation products are required. The excellent performance is achieved by utilising corrugated Sucofeed cables with low intermodulation designed connectors and a controlled assembly process with HUBER+SUHNER solder technology. This product line is designed to provide optimal performance up to 4 GHz.
