The highest density 40 Gbps multicoax solution for high speed digital testing
(pat. pend.)

The ganged multicoax solution offers a true 40 Gbps coaxial-to-PCB transition with a very small form factor. Its reliable mating and ease of use make it especially suited to bench-top test systems as well as interconnection within automated test equipment. A broad range of configurations with highly flexible cable assemblies and compact PCB connectors is available.

Features

  • Operating range up to 40 Gbps
  • Highest density – lowest loss
  • Extensive technical support
  • 3D-files, modelling data (Agilent ADS) and footprints

Benefits

  • Reliable push on mating
Thanks to the revolutionary slide-on interface design, mating forces are reduced to a typical value of 18 N for a 2x8 ganged system. The excellent reproducibility guarantees stable electrical values even after numerous mating cycles.
  • Space saving
Due to the dense interface pitch, the PCB connectors use less space on boards. This is advantageous, as high performing and expensive board material is absolutely essential for good signal integrity beyond 10 Gbps.
  • Shorter lines between chip and PCB connector
The compact design of the PCB connectors allows positioning directly adjacent to the DUT/chip. This helps to keep the transmission lines on the board short and therefore the losses low.
  • Easy channel management
An elaborate numbering and coding system applied to the cable connectors as well as to the PCB connectors provides for quick and easy identification of the single channels.
  • Overall cost savings and service benefits
Reduced cost of ownership compared to single interfaces due to lower expenses for PCB population and channel handling.
A repair service for the professional replacement of defective channels is available.
Free download of 3-D files, modelling data (Agilent ADS) and footprints. Customised footprints and simulation data on request.
