ENVIROFLEX offers the best of both PTFE and foamed PE. ENVIROFLEX is the real alternative to halogen-containing RG coaxial cables.

PE contra PTFE

The use of plastic material with improved environmental performance allows to get halogen-free, flame-retardant and easy to dispose of cable types by

  • replacing PTFE (dielectric) with cellular PE
  • replacing FEP (jacket) with cross-linked RADOX
  • cross-linking all plastics to improve the temperature range

Environment

PE plastics used in ENVIROFLEX are molecularly altered to enhance their physical properties without producing materials that substantially resist decomposition. The materials are toxically harmless in accordance with the European Union safety specification sheet 91 / 155 / EWG.

ENVIROFLEX can easily be disposed off at the end of the system's service life without generating any unnecessary disposal costs.
