Print viewQN quick-lock connectors

QN coaxial connectors are available with 50 impedance. The frequency range extends up to 11 GHz, depending on the connector and cable type. However, most of the QN connectors are return loss-optimised for frequencies up to 6 GHz. The interface is based on the inner dimensions of the N connector, but instead of a threaded coupling mechanism, a new SNAP-ON mechanism is used. It offers a time-saving and fail-safe mounting.

The packaging density of QN has increased compared to N due to the fact that no torque spanner is required to fasten the coupling nut. Additionally, the outer dimensions of QN are smaller than N, offering the advantage that TNC-sized flanges can be used on QN connectors.

Features of QN connectors:

  • similar performance to N but much easier to mate
  • QN combines the advantages of a threaded interface with the easy mounting function of a snap-on interface
  • user-friendly, fast and secure
  • time saving thanks to SNAP-ON mating
  • fail-safe mounting without tool
  • higher packing density
  • no additional space for a torque wrench is needed between connectors
