Small cells are low-powered radio access nodes that have a typical range of 10 to 2000 meters and will become a major deployment scenario for cellular mobile operators in the near future. Small cells will be used to provide improved cellular and mobile broadband coverage and capacity in enterprises as well as metropolitan in-fill and rural public spaces. Because of their smaller power and size, plus the need to deploy small cells in buildings such as shopping malls and sports stadia as well as on metropolitan street furniture (bus stops, advertising hoardings etc.) the wiring infrastructure also needs to differ from the one used on typical macro-cell RRH installations.

To support this need and the need to deploy multiple radios off a single fiber daisy-chain HUBER+SUHNER has developed a bespoke range of small cell deployment solutions that are innovative and easy to deploy.
