Seamless connectivity from HUBER+SUHNER
The Australian colocation provider NEXTDC delivers seamless connectivity with structured cable management from HUBER+SUHNER. When NEXTDC launched B2, Australia’s first Tier IV-certified constructed facility in Brisbane, it was the first of three new second-generation colocation data centres to be built around the country. To better manage this, NEXTDC approached HUBER+SUHNER, a provider of high-performance electrical and optical connectivity solutions for the data centre industry.

100G Optical Demarcation Device
The new CUBO mini from HUBER+SUHNER is the first device to take advantage of the wide variety of 100G QSFP28 transceivers covering different distances up to 25km. It has two QSFP28 slots implementing a layer 1 optical conversion between the two slots. This approach not only makes the setup simple “plug & play” but also enables full transparency of all higher levels including OTU4 at the lowest possible latency.

First connector dedicated to RF-Energy
RFEX is available for integration into RF-Energy modules and is designed to handle the required high power levels at lowest possible losses. Additional heat generation in transitions can be avoided, and very high reliability and long life time of amplifiers is supported.
