RESA- FTTH Rollout in suburban areas

RESA is a modular, easy to install connectivity solution and is the first on the market to enable subscribers to part-install their own fiber as a DIY-style installation.  RESA is designed to reduce costs, time and resources for operators rolling out FTTH networks, while giving subscribers more convenience and choice. The convenience and flexibility to subscribers will also greatly contribute to operators’ network roll-out business as they can deliver more homes connected in less time and at a lower cost.
RESA SC

RESA SC

The RESA SC from HUBER+SUHNER is a harsh environment enclosure, designed to be buried at the property boundary. It is intended for operators and neutral hosts who require simple and robust solutions for Fiber-to-the-Home expansion. This new innovative approach will help to prepare the FTTH land development in multiple properties.

The RESA SC can be laid by the operator in one simple process and reduces a historically timely and costly FTTH expansion process.

Various pre-assemblies are available.

LISA - centralised cross-connects

LISA (Leading Interconnect System Approach) is a dedicated, high-density fiber management system commonly used as a centralised cross-connect in the Main Distribution Area (MDA) of large data centers. With a depth of 300 mm and full access from the front side, LISA racks can be positioned against unused walls at the end of cold aisles or back to back on a single floor tile. LISA racks have a maximum density of 3600 LCD ports per rack (100 cassettes with 36 ports each) or 7200 LCD ports per floor tile when placed back to back.

LISA differs from conventional 19" panels in that it is fully accessible from the front. This means that users can install, patch or remove LISA fiber cassettes simply by sliding them out, without having to access the rear of the cabinet. Patching to the LISA rack is fast and easy and a dedicated slack storage area for patch cords allows users to make "any-to-any" patching with only two lengths of patch cords.

IANOS® - high-density connectivity system

The IANOS system from HUBER+SUHNER is a state of the art fiber optic management system which facilitates fast, flexible and future-proofed connectivity in the data center. As its name suggests "IANOS" (inspired by the Roman god Janus) looks to the past as well as to the future. This means that "IANOS" is a combination of previous experience and valuable insight into the future.

Data centers are constantly adapting to reflect the demands placed on them, and today's fiber management systems need to accommodate these changes with the minimum amount of cost, time and disruption. As data centers evolve, we see a broad mixture of applications and data rates depending on the location, the business model and of course the data demand. IANOS accommodates these changes by offering the widest range of connectivity scenarios in a single generic platform.

Optical Distribution Frames (ODF)

HUBER+SUHNER offers a wide range of Optical Distribution Frames (ODF) to meet its customers' requirements. The comprehensive range of Cable Distribution Racks (CDR) is designed to fulfil the diverse needs of the typical data center operator. The modern cabinet range is based on anodised aluminium profiles (C-frame) with tool-free, quick-release doors and side panels.
NGR (New Generation Rack)

NGR (New Generation Rack)

The NGR (New Generation Rack) is a purpose-built high-density fiber management rack which serves as a central cross-connect in the main distribution area of data centers. With a footprint depth of only 300 mm, the NGR is fully modular and scalable up to 1620 ports (3240 fibers) using LC connectivity and 1080 ports (25 920 fibers) using MTP® connectivity. Users benefit from a C-shaped construction that allows all internal sub-elements to be installed and accessed from the front side. This important feature means that NGRs can be placed back to back on a single floor tile, or alternatively against an unused wall or directly on the sides of existing enclosures and rows of racks for minimal space consumption.

The NGR is the most flexible and scalable fiber management system on the market. Different fiber performances, connectivity types and applications can be mixed and matched in the same cabinet, which enables the overall solution to evolve at the same pace as the data center.

The NGR rack adapts to any environment and can be configured to meet any requirements. Its large range of accessories facilitates fiber management and improves cabling.
