SPS IPC DRIVES 2018: HUBER+SUHNER PRESENTS INFRASTRUCTURE SOLUTIONS FOR THE DIGITAL REVOLUTION
Under the motto “Today. Tomorrow. Connect.“ HUBER+SUHNER is presenting innovative solutions for the industrial future from 27 to 29 November.

Location: Nuremberg
Date: 27 / 11 / 2018 - 29 / 11 / 2018

At the SPS IPC Drives exhibition in Nuremberg (hall 10.0, stand 321), the Swiss specialist in HF/LF connectivity solutions and fibre optic components is presenting its all-encompassing solutions for signal and data transmission in the future sectors of Smart Factory, Energy and Ship, Oil & Gas.

Driven by the digital transformation, the boundaries of network technology, automation and sensor technology are merging closer and closer together. Sensitive IT systems that were originally developed for use in fully air-conditioned data centres are now being increasingly used for IoT applications and edge computing in the raw environments of production and manufacturing plants. This advancement creates high demands for the quality and environmental stability of all components used.

How cabling system innovations can contribute to the success of modern key technologies is shown by HUBER+SUHNER with its RADOX® High Power Charging System (HPC), among other things. In 2016, the HPC won the Bavarian State Award For Electromobility, and, in 2017, it won the CLEPA Innovation Award from the European Association of Automotive Suppliers. Thanks to active cooling, the RADOX® HPC can transfer charging currents of up to 400 amps to passenger cars and 630 amps to utility vehicles – around four times more than previous solutions.

Another focal point of HUBER+SUHNER at the exhibition is its comprehensive antenna portfolio. Whether for metering, data acquisition, controls or notifications, wireless technologies, such as low-power wireless, WLAN and M2M mobile connections, are increasingly defining the face of modern production plants. Products with industry-specific authorisations, such as radio frequency products with ATEX certification or fibre optic cabling solutions with CPR authorisation according to the Construction Products Regulation, round off HUBER+SUHNER’s appearance at the exhibition.
