Manufacturers of devices face the challenge that they are required to include cellular and Wi-Fi connectivity in their devices, but don’t have resources, budget, and knowhow for developing the required antennas and optimising their housings. Since housing influences antenna performance, and antenna performance depends on a lot of parameters, finding an out-of-the-box solution to provide the required performance is challenging.
HUBER+SUHNER provides embedded antennas as an off-the-shelf product, which are small size, low-cost and easy-to-integrate within housings and provide standard performance as long as installation instructions are followed. Depending on housing geometry and size, as well as performance requirements, engineering services are offered for additional customisation, integration and performance optimisation.
