rf_components.jpgThe comprehensive range of high-quality radio frequency components is based around the varying needs of in-building or distributed antenna networks and railway, test and measurement applications. The components are compatible with one another and have stable characteristics of a very high quality. This high level of quality is the result of many years’ experience in the development and production of radio frequency components.

HUBER+SUHNER manufactures a wide range of adapters to realise transitions from one interconnection interface to another. Our RF adaptor assortment covers all commercially available RF interfaces and configurations, frequency and return loss specification. Any RF coaxial adapter can be modified to fit specific applications.

Phase shifters

HUBER+SUHNER phase shifters allow phase change while maintaining constant VSWR and Insertion Loss values. These passive devices have proven to be successful in aerospace, missile, and satellite programs.

The construction of all phase shifters and trimming devices incorporate fine gauge threads for precise tuning.

Phase shifters are terminated with precision interfaces per MIL-STD-348 including SMA, TNC, and N (in series and between series). However, custom devices can be manufactured using other interfaces.

HUBER+SUHNER terminations are used to close an open RF port. They are applied in a large variety of test+measurement, defence and communication applications.

Fixed attenuators are mainly used to reduce the power level of RF signals by a certain amount. The output signal is reduced with respect to the input.


HUBER+SUHNER provides a portfolio of RF filters that cover cellular, Wi-Fi 2.4 and 5 GHz, and TETRA security bands.

Our standard product portfolio comprises diplexers and multiplexers for mobile communication and transportation applications, the majority of which are ideally suited for in-building coverage solutions. Several railway-qualified products complete the portfolio.

Filters are available with N and 7/16 interfaces.


Directional Couplers

Directional Couplers
HUBER+SUHNER’s broadband directional coupler portfolio is designed for indoor applications and covers the frequency range from 380 or 689 to 2700 MHz. This extremely wide frequency range allows for use with multi-band antennas, leaky cable systems and wireless base stations for cellular, Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz and TETRA security networks. The couplers are ideally suited for multi-carrier/multi-operator coupling and combiner networks. Directional couplers are available with N and 4.3-10 interfaces.

Hybrid Couplers

Hybrid Couplers
The HUBER+SUHNER series of broadband hybrid and hybrid matrix couplers are ideally suited for equally combining multi-carrier/multi-operator systems. They enable the equal division or combination of two signals in the cellular and Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz wireless bands. The remaining outputs need to be terminated with a suitable 50 ohms termination. A 2x1 hybrid coupler with integrated cable load is also available. Hybrid couplers are available with N, 7/16 and 4.3-10 interfaces.


This series of HUBER+SUHNER tappers unevenly splits high-power cellular signals in fixed ratios from 1000:1 to 2:1. It covers the entire spectrum from 350 to 5850 MHz. Tappers are widely used in multi-band/multi-operator in-building systems that cover cellular, Wi‑Fi 2.4 and 5 GHz, and TETRA security bands. Tappers are available with N and 4.3-10 interfaces.


Reactive Splitters
Low-loss reactive splitters are used to distribute RF signals to multiple transceiver antennas or radiating cables. The RF power is evenly split to all outputs with excellent amplitude and phase balance. Only the common port is matched to 50 ohms. The broad range of reactive power splitters supports cellular, WiFi 2.4 and 5 GHz, and TETRA security bands. Reactive power splitters are available with N, 7/16 and 4.3-10 interfaces.

Wilkinson splitters
The HUBER+SUHNER series of broadband Wilkinson type combiners/splitters is ideally suited for equally combining or dividing low-power multi-carrier/multi-operator signals. Each input and output port is matched to 50 ohms. The frequency range covers 380 or 698 to 2700 MHz. The Wilkinson splitters support cellular, WiFi 2.4 and 5 GHz, and TETRA security bands. Wilkinson splitters are available with an N interface.
