HUBER+SUHNER labels can be used to identify, track and determine the quantity of products. The labelling services provided by HUBER+SUHNER fulfil the ANSI standard ASC_MH10.8.2
The following labels are currently provided by HUBER+SUHNER label services:
Type label: Individual item or cable information label
Product label: Product information label on bag (1st level), spool or box (2nd level)
Shipment label 3S-7S: Shipment information label on handling units (depending on the packaging process)
Label types
Standard labelling:
Unless specified otherwise, all HUBER+SUHNER products are labelled with the HUBER+SUHNER logo and data.
Customer-specific labelling:
To avoid relabelling during the inbound process at the customer, labels can be customised upon request. In this case, labels will display the following information:
Customer item number (mandatory)
Customer item description
Customer item revision number
HUBER+SUHNER supplier number from the customer’s ERP system
Private labelling: Labels can be customized upon request to avoid relabelling before selling goods directly to end customers or if customers require individual labels for internal processes. In this case, labels can be designed exclusively according to customer requirements.
Labelling costs
The advanced services for customer-specific and private labelling require additional internal effort (process execution, monitoring, exception handling).
