HUBER+SUHNER achieves marked increase in net sales and income

HUBER+SUHNER has recorded a very positive first term of 2013 overall. All divisions have contributed to the strong growth in net sales (+23.2 % auf CHF 387.5 million). Compared with the weak previous year, the operating profit (CHF 29.4 million) improved considerably, too, and the EBIT margin (7.6 %) is within the target range again. This is particularly pleasing in view of the fact that, as the result of two insolvent customers in the solar field, high provisions were again recorded.
