Combined with our active optical transport solutions incorporating SFPs, couplers, amplifiers, transponders, dispersion compensation, and management, they provide demarcation, repeater and converter functionalities.

HUBER+SUHNER offers protection components for terrestrial and airborne Satcom. HUBER+SUHNER holds groundbreaking patents in the field of coaxial lightning and HEMP protection, such as the automatically suppressing surge arrestor (Semper).

The HUBER+SUHNER Spuma product family stands for lowest loss with halogen free materials. Shielding and VSWR are optimised up to 6 GHz. The cables are more flexible than corrugated ones, allowing easier handling and installation. Tight bending radii are possible. With this set of features, Spuma can support a multitude of applications. Spuma products can also be used as drop-in replacements for many competitors' products.

Compact and fully customizable fiber laser and amplifier modules operating around 1 and 1.5 um for integration into optical terminals. The units are based on our extensive toolbox photonics componentry and include in-house developed software control and are deployable as OEM or rack-mounted modules.
