Earlier this month, HUBER+SUHNER was proud to launch an all-new portfolio of coax-to-PCB compression mount PCB connectors. These connectors will play a critical role in several types of applications, from test and characterization boards, reference boards, high-speed digital evaluation and also for in-system or internal connectivity.


It’s worth taking some time in understanding a little bit more about them and what makes them tick a lot of boxes for PCB designers, lab managers and SI engineers.

Embracing the solderless advantage


Precision compression mount PCB connectors can be put to use in the design of semiconductors and Test and Measurement equipment manufacturing. 


Designers, managers, lab technicians and engineers can use them to very promptly mount a test interface onto the Device Under Test (DUT) PCB. This allows for immediate measurements without delays from any operational processing. With only a slight and negligible compromise in electrical performance, the key benefit of using compression mount PCB connectors is the elimination of uncontrollable solder joints.
