• Impact-resistant glass-fiber reinforced plastic polycarbonate (PC GF5) with good weather resistance
• Extremely durable (> 25 years)
• No water condensation (DIN 47609)
• Textured surfaces (door and rear panel) to prevent billposting
• Lightweight compared to metal enclosures
• Electrically insulating enclosure material (enclosures UNI and 82, 83 depending on the configuration, may have protection class II)
• Modular design and easy installation
• Enclosure body (UNI, 82, 83) and the upper enclosure (MPE) can be removed without interruption of service
• Damage reduction due to the use of pre-determined breaking point technology (base UNI, 82, 83) and replacement of
individual enclosure parts without interrupting operation
• One or two locks with a three-point locking system (except for small enclosures)
• RoHS and REACH compliant and 100 % recyclable
• Easy handling and mounting
• Operating temperature range −45 to +45 °C
• Base and enclosure protection due to the use of
pre-determined breaking point technology (standard in base UNI, 84, 83)
