In-building cabling
280
Inside buildings, each home or apartment can be connected with fiber by using the following solutions:
- Using a riser cable running through floor enclosures which can unbundle into singular fiber links for each wall outlet in the apartments.
- Pulling the cable of a pre-assembled wall outlet through existing cable ducting to the main distribution point.
- Using a multi-fiber pre-connectorised overlength enclosure for each floor and dropping cables to each wall outlet.
- Using a single fiber pre-connectorised overlength enclosure with an integrated splitter and dropping cables to each wall outlet.
All fiber cabling terminates in the main distribution enclosure at the building entry point. This modular LISA-based solution also supports shared house infrastructure services such as alarm control and heating system.
