Wireless and cellular infrastructure

Wireless connectivity has developed into a major technology in many industries, including oil and gas, where it is rapidly becoming a requirement of devices and machines.
In order to build a long-lasting, reliable wireless network which provides good coverage, many requirements must be met. Depending on point of installations, this may include certain antenna parameter requirements (gain, VSWR, etc.), but also mechanical properties such as water tightness, salt water and spray resistance, shock and vibration resistance.
Devices may connect on different standards - such as Wi-Fi, or cellular - 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G - but also other services such as GNSS (GPS) may be required on the antenna side. Antenna cabling typically has a focus on easy installation, flexibility, low losses and the ability to fulfil environmental requirements, such as water tightness, oil and radiation resistance.
HUBER+SUHNER has a large portfolio of products fulfilling these needs, providing excellent performance and ensuring a long operation.
