Corporate Responsibility

Corporate Responsibility
Whatever we do and plan to advance our strategy and performance is guided by our Code of responsible business conduct and considers the core subjects of our corporate responsibility:

•    Human rights
•    Labour practices
•    The environment
•    Fair operating practices
•    Customer issues
•    Community involvement and development.

Our corporate responsibility is a continuous journey on which we improve our economic performance, adapt our business and optimize the efficiency of production processes. This is vital when addressing the challenges which society is confronted with: climate change, armed conflicts between countries, humanitarian crises as well as equal opportunities and gender equality. It is part of the corporate responsibility of HUBER+SUHNER to make its contribution to a better world.
We remain committed to the United Nations Global Compact and its ten principles, to setting science-based greenhouse gas emission targets, and to reporting on the CDP platform regarding climate change. We have set other ambitious goals  and we regularly measure our performance.
Our continuous journey requires even more: only by further embedding and connecting our ambitious corporate responsibility and business goals on management level and with every single employee, we can work towards becoming a truly sustainable business.
