HUBER+SUHNER holds groundbreaking patents in the field of coaxial lightning and HEMP protection, such as the automatically suppressing surge arrestor (Semper).

RF-over-Fiber systems from HUBER+SUHNER enable long-distance transmission of analog radio frequency signals using fiber optics and advanced conversion modules. Supporting frequencies from 20 MHz to 40 GHz, these systems offer up to 100 kilometers of range without amplification. The lightweight fiber design allows for efficient multiplexing of multiple channels into a single fiber, while providing immunity to electromagnetic interference, radio frequency interference, and electromagnetic pulses. 

HUBER+SUHNER field-mountable solutions consist mainly of HUBER+SUHNER SUCOFEED cables that guarantee optimal shielding, low attenuation, low VSWR, excellent intermodulation performance and flexibility for on-site handling and installation. In addition, these cables can be used with the HUBER+SUHNER QUICK-FIT connectors, the worldwide approved N and 7/16 connectors for foam dielectric corrugated copper tube cables. 

The SUCOFLEX 100 series of flexible microwave cable assemblies offer superior electrical and mechanical performance for static and dynamic applications. This series provides optimal performance up to 50 GHz, where stringent electrical requirements – in particular, stability and low loss – are important. The assemblies maintain stable electrical characteristics when exposed to bending and temperature.  

Eacon stands for EAsy CONnection – a simple cable and connector solution for flexible and fast field-termination of microwave cable assemblies without compromising high performance. The new field-terminated microwave cables and connectors are light-weight and water ingress protected up to IP68 and support frequencies up to 18 GHz with a wide assortment of connector options.
