We’ve also introduced two new single-cable cooling solutions: the LWK 24 V T35 with an air-cooled heat exchanger and the WKW 24 V T36 with a liquid-cooled heat exchanger. These charging units are designed to support a single high-power charging cable instead of two, enabling a simpler system layout for charger manufacturers. That means easier integration, reduced system complexity and a clearer fit for applications where one cable per dispenser is the right answer.
The cooling units also bring practical operational value. They were specifically developed to support 600 Amps continuous charging and include a boost mode that automatically increases pressure and fan speed at high temperatures to improve thermal performance. Backward-compatible alarm management and positioning as a replacement path for older single cooling units further strengthen the business case for customers looking to modernize existing charging systems.
Combining these developments in high power charging marks a significant step forward for HUBER+SUHNER expertise in high power charging solutions. While performance still matters, so does uptime, durability, maintainability and ease of integration. These solutions are a result of our deep understanding of what the EV market increasingly demands; high-power charging solutions that work harder in the background so operators and OEMs can focus on reliability at the point of use.
At HUBER+SUHNER, we offer a more complete system approach that connects charging performance with real-world usability and operating efficiency. As the industry looks ahead to the next phase of EV infrastructure growth, we’re proud to be right there alongside them as trusted partners, devising and delivering the solutions for EV charging infrastructure.
